and my two main BLA modded units will be housed down there along with my hs80's

however now i need a small interface just so i can mix at home on my adams as im used to this room!

what would people suggest?

something with real good converters and maybe a couple of real good preamps
 
Saffire Pro 24. Decent pres, have ADAT+spdif ins and outs, MIDI in/out. Firewire too.

I asked the same question like a few weeks ago and got myself the RME FF400. Maybe out of your price range but you know what you got.
 
i have mbox for home mixing when im not at studio, really good pres.
before mbox i was using pod ux1, about the same size but it was just awful. you need to bring level on it up to max to get a decent level from mic.
it was glitching a lot if i open a big project. and so on and so on.

but if you looking for something really small i would go for mbox mini, i use it sometimes when i don't have enough space in my bag.
i can literally put it in my side pocket. good, small and fairly priced.
 
if you want something REAL good and professional and I think you are on a mac go with a metric halo uln2

You will get high-end AD/DA conversation
2 high-end mic pres

and the most stabil drivers I ever known
