A Pink Floyd Tribute is playing both the Universal Amphitheater and the former Pond of Anaheim. :err: (I'm not using the current corporate names of those venues).

I saw Which Ones Pink do the entire Wall a few years back and enjoyed it very much. The Gilmore guy was a great singer and guitarist. I have not seen the Australian one. To me, the key for later Floyd material, lies in the guitar and Gilmore vocals. A good example is Hey You, where Dave clearly saves the song.

Pink Floyd tribute band seems to be a good market, since Roger Waters refuses to reunite. Of course, no tribute band on Earth can afford a light show anywhere near to the insanity Floyd used to have. That wasn't a light show, that was intergalactic time travel. No band to date has come close to that. Even more interesting, is how they had 3 seperate stage set ups travelling with them. So they could build a venue in one city, while performing in another. Then leap frog the 3rd one. A multi-million dollar super sonic operation.
