the clash tribute was pretty great: steven van zant, bruce springsteen, dave grohl, and elvis costello doing a note-for-note London Calling (complete with the line-up and foot-stomping the way the clash did it!). oh yeah, some swarthy bassist who was probably in no doubt also danced around during the performance.

also: LIMP BIZKIT declared their antiwar stance, setting the anti-war movement back two years. sigh. at least sheryl crow kept her fucking trap shut (from what i saw, at least).
