So, what did YOUR favorite professional metalhead pick?

Our very own Glenn Harveston loves My Chemical Romance as well. I think he went as far as to call it one of his favorites this year. I actually downloaded it and gave it a spin, but it didn't do a lot for me, and I never came back to it. It seems a lot of people love it though .. maybe I should revisit it.

indeed. they are the type of band, for me, that i listen to a song and it doesnt do anything for me, but in most songs theyll be a part where i go "oh sweet thats pretty cool!!!" i think the problem is, they are only parts.

The My Chemical Romance was reaching in several ways. I thought that they tried to have some Queen-esque compositions. Which I liked. My problem with them is that I can't really get over some of their execution, particularly the singer. He doesn't have the capabilities to support some of what they were trying to do. Sure, many can disagree, but his singing is what made me feel 'meh' after listening to it.
