so, what's bergthron like?

I'm listening to "Jagdheim" for the first time in a long while and I think it's safe to say that it shits all over "Faust fur Faust" (which is actually pretty damn good). The basslines are still bonerific.

Faust für Faust? I didn't think it was all that. The music was ok, but the vocalist just goes on and on and on and on ad nauseum like Glenn fucking Benton. I don't think there is one moment on that album that doesn't feature vocals. It would be so much better if they allowed some of the passages to just stay instrumental.

Haha, spot on. And the fact that his singing is really shitty doesn't make it any better -- even thuogh it's way better than the famale howling on the third or forth track, which is some of the worst attempts at singing I've heard. Anyway the album is ok though, with a really good title track, which sadly is followed by three rather bland ones. I prefer Wotanskult (which is the LP version of Jagdheim with an instrumental bonus track added) to FfF anyway.

Though the reason that I bumped this thread however was that I noticed that they had a new album out called Leben und Lebenswille. This 80 minute mammoth epic comes in a 3CD edition (why three?), and according to a review I read features some nice out of tune singing and pretty good music in the same vein as Faust für Faust. So, are there any fans here, or someone who's planning to bother with it?
