So.... who is Melinda...?

Lethe78...you are my personal saviour and I'll tell you why:

Until this thread came up, I felt something wrong with my life, some subconscious part of my being was just not right, something was a little off. It had bothered me for days, and was starting to become quite frustrating. It was only when this thread was created and I read it for the first time (and not the last!) that I realised that I had come to expect and to depend on threads about the nature of Melinda... almost like a drug. Now I am cured for another few weeks. Thank you, you're my hero.

I had the same feeling, but also got cured from it by this! Thank you!

Various wisdom on the philosophy of Melinda.

Foreward:
These quotes are from authors at the forefront of the ever-growing league on the reasearch of 'Melindom'. These are some of the more notable sources on the actual existance and origins of Melinda. With knowledge like this, the world has begun to actually start understanding Melinda. One day soon scientists may not only proove the existence of Melinda, but also that she indeed had a face. But for now, all we can do is wait and hope that Melinda once again, manifests herself to us.

"Who is Melinda and how did grandmother, eh Mrs.
Larson get your socks? She's Melinda's cousin, but Mrs. Larson's not her grandma, she's her mother's mom. Not Betty's mom's mother, but Melinda's mother's mom."

"Who is Melinda? And why does she think
the stew will help me? "Melinda is the head cook," Rachel answered unhesitatingly. "She is also an herbalist. I believe she put some of her curatives in the stew when I told her of your injuries."

"Who is Melinda, what is she, that all her swains commend, her?"

"Who is Melinda, is she pretty?!?!??!?! Yes"

(Taken from google search results of "Who is Melinda?")

Has anyone ever met the real Melinda?
Any known photographs of her?
Is she still alive?

Has anyone ever met the real Melinda? Experts beleive that Melinda lived sometime between the mid-1800's and early 1900's. Although, of course there were people in her time knew her, she remained a mystery even to them. There are lots of phonies out there pretending to be the REAL Melinda, but little do they know the real Melinda has been dead for as many as 90 years. Others say that Melinda appears to them in dreams or as waking apparations. This outstanding claim can obviously not be proven, but remains interesting nevertheless.

I've contacted Melinda's official biographer, and was sent these pictures. I treid to get more information from him about the life of Melinda, but he insisted that Melinda's secretive still life must stay that way, at least for the time being.
