So who's Megadeth taking out on the tour?

Any ideas or rumours? It's gotta be an all American band tour, right? 4 support bands....

I suspect the following:

Anthrax
Testament (with Alex Skolnick)
Iced Earth
Jag Panzer

Maybe Death Angel instead of Testament...?

It's NOT gonna be Slayer. Those are good guesses, and I'd taken 'em. I'm a little afraid we'll get some newer blood.

Really? I thought this was going to be a "Back in the Day" tour...:

Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, Death Angel

I bet all the above bands have been approached. Slayer will probably ask for too much $.

Exodus could be another possibility...

Or Enslaved.... :loco:

i don't think Slayer would go out again .. they just did 2 tours back to back supporting ... well ... nothing + they are recording the new disc.

most likely it's Testament.

Exodus just toured with Megadeth

i guess they could, but they just did a US tour together + Exodus in the same boat as Slayer ... out to deliver a new disc by fall time.

altough, it would be stupid for them to pass up a big old school thrash tour.
Exodus has been plagued by bad decisions, bad timing and general bad luck in their 20 years ... so it's possible they would fuck something up again :erk:

Can Megadeth outdraw Iced Earth? Every IE show I've gone to has been packed. I'm sure Jon would do it just for the exposure to the old school fans who haven't followed the scene in years. If that is the line-up, I's suspect IE would be above Testament.

You're kidding right? :tickled:

:guh:

Iced Earth already supported Megadeth on their last tour before Mustaine damaged his arm.

Testament would also headline over IE. Add to the fact that Skolnick is back in the camp, and you're looking at a major draw. This is one of those 'original line up' thingies.

hmmm, if ticket prices are decent and it's in a decent part of Houston (assuming they have the balls to come down here), I might go....mainly for Fear Factory. Megadeth would be a treat, though. Nevermore, bleh, seen 'em twice. Dream Theater is wank.

Please tell me you're fucking lying through your teeth. :tickled: That is just disasterous.
What the!? I could give two shits about Dream Theatre or Neverbore(sans Never), but fucking Fear Factory playing with 'deth would be tits! Big perky titties!

Here's the thing, I thought they were supposed to bring out someone like Testament or Slayer etc. It was supposed to be a "clash of the titans" thing.

Hopes, meet Dashed.

Although I'll take Nevermore in a support slot for 'Deth, yeah. But Fear Factory and Dream Cunts? I'd rather see Enslaved.
