So who's Megadeth taking out on the tour?

True story: I used to put on Remanufacture or whatever it's called when my acid-techno friends came over for beers. (You know, it's a big rave scene in England).

Anyway, they of course thought that metal was lame, but they could always take some Fear Factory. It was the closest to metal I could get in the vicinity of my work colleagues.

hehe, Remanufacture was one of those lame remix albums. yeah, I can see where techno geeks would like it.

I love Obsolete and Demanufacture. Hell, that show is worth it just for FF.

Never bothered with the remix albums, but Obsolete and Demanufacture are TITS. The others are good when I'm in an über-FF mood, but that doesn't happen too often anymore.

Obsolete is one of those albums when I listen to, I'm basically transported back to when I first heard it (around when it came out). I even had a dubbed tape copy for my car at the time, since CD-players and Suzuki Samurais didn't mix. Used to take my girlfriend to lunch and afterwards sleep in her school's parking lot cranking that album in the hot sun. :kickass:

I haven't seen it anywhere, but that lineup blows donkey dick. There's supposed to be a 5th band as well, I had heard rumors of Diamond Head.

Inglewood makes the rest of LA look like paradise.

Although the fried chicken shack on every corner (I shit you not) is pretty cool. :Spin:

I had heard rumors that it would Dream Theater, evidence being that the asterisk in Dave's cryptic post matched the letters in their name. It's baad news on two levels, it polarizes the audience and indicates that DT aren't done with trying to metalize their sound despite failing on their last two albums. And then there's Queer Factory. ::yuck::
But if Nevermore's there, I'm buying tickets immediately.

Dream Theater makes sense ... they have a new disc due out ... but I pray it is not them or Fear Factory also.

Machine Head would be interesting !!! :kickass:

Machine Head would rule with 'deth, especially since they decided to start making kickass music once again.

I have never heard a single Machine Head song. Or Type O Negative for that matter. Why I listed both of them, I have no idea, but I guess it's all the same timeframe.

Hook a brutha up yo.

OMFG dude you're missing two of the best bands rising from the 90's right there. Consider it done.

Machine Head will tear your tits off, anyone who thinks otherwise and somehow enjoys metal is just batty. The first album anyhow, the rest of their catalogue can be seen subjectively. Burn My Eyes though. God damn is it good. GOD. FUCKING. DAMN.

yeah, if Machine Head is considered thrash, then that's one of the few I like. Hell, I even dug their supposed nu-metal album The Burning Red.

Type O is great, but they can be hit or miss.
