Just checked the shows page, and saw your Utah dates are at the Zephyr Club. Are you in need of a roadie, or should I go ahead and buy tickets???
;)

I hear that The Zephyr is a nice club, but I've never actually been there, and my information is dated...
:p

I might be able to help aka band security, but I'm not much of a barricade - only about 145 pounds to work with...
:p

And my experience has been that Utah crowds are usually fairly tame - the establishment loves busting heads, so people try to avoid giving them a reason to do so!

As for the club size - as I said I've never actually been inside, but some fairly big acts have played there in the past (as I remember, ZZ Top and 38 Special played there after their heyday), as well as a lot of local acts... I'll make some inquiries on my end, or maybe Dustin will jump in here with the goods!

Yes, this is the House of Blues of Utah. From what I heard from a show attendee at the last gig, this is a great club to play at. Yippee!

So, you need a roadie??? I'm free and available...
:p

Oh, and Dustin of KatagoryV (elsewhere on the UM forums) has this to say about the Zephyr:

I'm certain that our entire band, all our freinds as well as most people from the Utah Metal group mailing list will be in attendance for this! This will be the largest gathering of metal heads the Zephyr has ever seen in over 15 years!

(snip)

The Zephyr is mostly an alternative/folk/blues music club these days... I'm actually suprised the Maidens are booked their! It's going to be sweet seeing how they have an excellent system and set-up there.... and it's a 30 block-straight shot from our studio!

Only 46 days to go!!!
Mr Toast is bouncing off the walls already - can he survive long enough to see the show?!?

hmmmm... I'm sure some of us would be willing to line the front of the stage and form a human barricade :p

the Zeph is the sweetest sounding club in the valley... we would give our left nut to play it.:waah: I'll back-up Mr. toast in that most of the crowd will be very well behaved... and very enthusiastic at the show. They have a few security guys and a 5'+ high stage, which will deter most from doing something silly.
