Theres multiple reasons why Manowar arent really viable i would say... For a start they said theyd never play in the UK again... That and they probably think theyre too big for a festival of this size... Manowar made some cool as hell music but are an epic group of twats...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard the anecdote is something along the lines of Manowar having a gig just down the road (so to speak) and on the same day as Donnington (when it was good, obviously) and then were surprised when next to no-one turned up, ever since then they've had a strop on.

agreed with the guys who said most of the line up at this years stock blow manowar out of the water anyway... especially BOP, COB, SIN, RAY and PF
