This is for my fellow grunge fans..everyone else can move along and shush.

Ryan is back on vox and that makes it an auto-buy for me. They turned back the clock a decade on this one with a definte "Scars" vibe.

I have only heard the more well known songs from this band.

What I can say is I am sure this is good news for their fans.

I saw (for what I could stiomach which was only 2 songs) this band with a different singer at Chicago Powerfest. They cleared the room so damn fast it wasn't even funny.

How does this work? Aren't some of these guys in Broken Hope, who just reformed as well? Not sure how active BH are going to be.

Shaun Glass was in Broken Hope, and then went on to do Soil. He quit Soil a few years ago and BH is back together with a new singer since the original singer committed suicide a few years ago I believe. So yeah, interestingly, this version of Soil has the original singer but not one of the original songwriters.

Definitely interested in this record though. Ryan is a great singer and this new song is dope. Sounds like classic early 2000's Alice In Chains worship haha.

Now that I've listened to the clip I'll say that I am excited. I prefer their more up-tempo stuff, but this is definitely a return to form. Good fun simple heavy rock.

Whoa, that sounds a LOT like "Scars"! I had pretty much written them off after how disappointed I was in "Redefine", but this sounds really good, hits all the same notes as that album did.
