I just finished mixing this and need lots and lots of help on how to make this sound better. I'm still at a beginner level when it comes to mixing.

Guitars are Solo C and Nick Crow's 8505 with very similar settings to a preset Dandelium used a while back.
Bass is Guitar Rig 4.
Drums are programmed with SSD EX.

Thanks in advance! :)

EDIT: Updated mix: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1558265/LoR pre 2.mp3 Thanks in advance again! ^_^

I boosted 140hz on the rhythm guitars and 600hz on the solo guitars and made some changes to the drums and bass.

Also, what would be the best way to humanize the drums? I used REAPER's humanize function, but I don't know if it's doing much.

Nice guitar work, man!
I thought the drums were a little bit louder than the rest and bass could use some low end, at times you hardly hear it. I love double kick but I find it too busy at times here, 'cos it's there all the time. Good performance though.

sounds quite good to me, but a bit thin, especially the guitars, they are also could be louder
you also could humanize those drums a bit more, now they sound very programmed.
but the sound of everything itself is nice....

really cool tune! i dig it

edit: and please turn down the kick :p

Thanks so much for the comments and criticism Joey and Mago! I'll fix those things as soon as possible, especially the drums. :D
