Some new death metal work...

why nobody wants to say something?

Is there something wrong ?

I'm feeling alone in this dark, cold thread...

Wanted to have some comments about my new mix, nothing more, how frustrating...

it not bad man - a couple things i heard -- the kick is to quiet and clicky and has no balls -try to compress somewhere between 2 and 8k to take away some clickyness. and boost some low frequency's or ease up on the hi pass ,, can't really tell what happend here..
the whole mix sounds like it is lacking some low end..
but it seems nicly balanced levelwise tho....

and don't take my critisizm to hard ...as i am no professional , and this is just my two cents...

Cheers !

i would suggest you use a snare sample to blend in. that will give your snare a lot more presence and in your face sound.

overall mix is good. try taking out some mud off your guitars too. that will help the bass and kick drum sound clearer.

now the kick is lost in the mix.
try another sample if you can/want. that one doesnt quite sit well in the mix.
your snare is much better now.

the guitars sound better. but there is still mud...check the 100's in your bass. maybe thats mudding up the hole song.

This is very challenging regard to my skill level right now, but I like it !

1 - Replaced kick with another one.

2 - The mudiness around 100 Hz, I'm a bit confused about it, everything I try is like fail, but I'm a little tired now, it's about midnight here in France, I think I'll quit for today.

Here is my latest challenge, didn't achieve the "mudiness killing process" at 0:23 (and when I cut around 100, whatever I do, guitars lack hugeness if I cut too much).

Any idea how to kill it at 0:23 ?

Thanks !

Drums get swallowed by the guitars, kick is barely there and too clicky. The guitar tone is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to scooped, low middy IMO. It doesn't sound real at all. Song sounds like it'd be cool, but the mix is kinda funky.
