hey guys :
I have some questions for my recordings:

1- If I recorded a four track guitar track alone and then rendered it, and then used it and mixed it with other instruments track, will it sound nice and thick, or I should render everything together? (I'm thinking of this because of CPU usage).

2- If I used Four Tracks for distorted Rhythm, how many track should I use for lead sound over there rhythm tracks?

3- Should I use more than one clean track?

I'm not entirely sure what you want to do, but if you're quad-tracking guitars as you've said you can send 4 of them to a bus as long as they're properly panned (e.g. 100L, 80L, 80R, 100R) and you should have a thick sound.

For the leads it depends, do you have a lot of harmonies? If so then you should record 2 guitars to have more than one harmony going on at the same time.

If the clean part is not the main focus of the song but rather used as a bridge then 1 clean guitar in the center should suffice.

Hope this helps ;)
