I was diggin through some old sessions and came across these samples from several years ago. I forget what type of drum kit it was, some kind of really high end Pearl or something (I think). Anyway there's only about 4 clean hits per drum, not really much difference in velocity so you'd have to slice them up and manipulate to make a good gog or whatever out of them ... Not sure if they'll be useful to anyone but I can say 100% the snare cuts through a mix REALLY well, either on its own or blended and the kick works very well for more Rock oriented music. As for signal chain, if memory serves I had an Audix D6 on the kick going through a Neve 1073 and Distressor, Snare was the same only with an SM57, the toms I don't remember what else they went through but we had 421s on them.
