Why the would you specifically label the Souls of Black album as their "commercial" album.

Well, because it sounds like it to me. Of course, "The Ritual" is much more like that.

Just my subjective perception.

You find it more commercial then Practice? Anyway good stuff! how long have you had them for?

Oh well, I think i had these records for 15 years or more... as far as I can remember, I've bought them all around 1993 or 1994. Oh yes, and I find them more commercial on SOB than on PWYP. A lot "easier to consume", so to say. *shrugs*

That's cool,it seems like records had a little bit of a resurgence in the early 90's if I remember right.
That is a long time to keep records safe!
I think of Practice and Souls pretty much along the same lines.Kind of like part 1 and 2 of the same album.
Like Ride the lightning and Puppets or Peace Sells and So Far So good So What.I don't think of either of them as commercial
because they were too heavy for the radio at least here.
Both great records!
