Somebody should really buy this CD from Michael Gira's (Swans) new band, The Angels of Light. It is mostly acoustic, but it is still one of the best CD's ever recorded.

I'm begging somebody else on this forum to give this a chance. It was a top 10 selection for Terroizer in 2001. However, it is NOT metal. It is somewhat experimental, but I would not expect anything like early Swans. Think of Peter Steele singing over Agalloch's experimental acoustic stuff.

The bid is pretty low right now too. If you can get this for less than $12, you can at least make your money back on half.com or ebay.

Keep an eye on the bidding. I'll be surprised if it doesn't go up quite a bit. It's not exactly rare . . . just highly praised and highly sought after.

Anyone heard the Neurosis/Jarboe collaboration yet?

Yes. Dreamlord and I both have it. It is exactly what it say it is. I can hear Neurosis, and I can hear Jarboe. They actually work well together.

In case anybody wonders why Dill went on this tangent, Jarboe sang on several of the Swans albums.

Anyway, the Neurosis/Jarboe collaberation is very subdued, but still heavy when it needs to be. It's something that will take time to really enjoy.
