Actually I looked them up and despite somehow being listed under "Heavy Metal", they have a song (the title track Wired! in fact) on a compilation CD called "Blue Ribbon Banjo" in the folk section.

So I'm guessing they are a folk band hahaha! Still a shockin' cover though!!!!
