Something to do tomorrow night (8/23)

Maidens' Bass
Not sure how many of you are into classical music, but if you're not doing anything tomorrow and you're close by, you can check out the Marina Del Rey Summer Symphony for free. :)

Time: Thursday, August 23 at 7pm
Address:Chace Burton Park, 13560 Mindanao Way, Marina Del Rey, CA, 310-305-9545
Program: Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody On a Theme of Paganini" and "Variations on a Nursery Song" by Ernst von Dohnanyi. Also "The Firebird Suite" to honor Igor Stravinsky's 125th birthday

There is a fee for parking (either $5 or $10, not sure) but if you get there early, you can park in the Ralph's shopping center for free and walk to the event (it's about a 5 minute walk). The concert is outdoors on the grass, so you may want to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Hope to see some of you there. I'll be in the bass section. :)

I always want to know about good music in all it's forms, so I'm glad you posted. LA is too hard for me to make from SD most weeknights but keep plugging your other venues. I'll try to make them if possible in future (if I'm still in the area).
Is it inappropriate fro me to say "rock the house tomorrow"?
