Song with Revalver Mk2 and Reaper

great work as always.. keep up the good work...which pedal do you use from AMT Electronics and whats the best for metal (hi gain sounds) i would really like to hear it with an impulse if its possible when ever you have time...thanks :)

Mostly I use AMT California sound. There is new line from AMT that is coming the next months. A guitar floor based preamp pedal with 100% analog circuit and tubes. I hope it will be the best hi-gain from them.
It is made with two outputs - simulated speaker and without cab emulation.

Sadly The "California's sound" distortion cab-emulation can't be switched off. :erk:
Thats why using IR's is useless.

Through my headphones this sounds fuckin amazing! Maybe a little on the bright side, but it's still downright GREAT sounding.

I've played the brass and strings on my midi keyboard with Halion Player
some of the synths are programed by me and written by hand using Zt3a+
and piano roll and there are only 2 rtm guitars hard left and right.

:)
 
really love this! lead guitar could come up a bit! sounds awesome though! you listen to steve vai much :lol:

The snare and the kick are replaced with BetaMonkey Double Bass Mania II 24 Bit samples. The whole Kit is send to group channel with Voxengo limiter.

So is that how you do it dimi? Is it just recording an audio track?
Does Reaper let you have Halion running when you track the midi stuff so you can monitor it's tone when playing?

I am using Adobe Audition right now and its midi support is virtually non-existent. So I am interested in picking up some new software.

Yeah Reaper is great! You can use your VSTi of course!
It's great software.

I own Cubase 4 too. But Reaper is something fresh :)
