Looking more for deathcore or metalcore. I could never get into black metal, death metal, etc. I prefer clear vocals where I can understand at least to some degree what is being said. I don't like the pig squeals or songs that contain nothing but growling. Here are some examples of what I'm looking for.

Yeah, but belief in heaven, god, cuddly angels, and fluffy care bears waiting for a person at the end of the line makes the misery and suffering more tolerable, kinda like slamming down vodka while getting a tattoo or whatever. That's why religion is so popular.

I think in some cases religious belief can be beneficial to a person's general mental health and emotional well-being. Obviously, I'm not including Islamic jihadists who want to kill all the heathens in the world and laugh as they burn in hell in this category.
