The Weeping Of a Thousand Years, Ark Of Thought and Deinonychus do have a similar sound.

The Dark Rage EP rules too. Fire and Wind is one of their best songs imo. Would've fit in perfectly with the songs on Dark Sorcery.

I discovered Aeternus not long after I'd started listening to the major Norwegian black metal bands and it took me a while to really appreciate them. Their songs are so dense and weighty and they don't have your typical black metal production that I was used to. Glad I persevered though, because there are some incredible songs on their first 2 full lengths and the Dark Sorcery EP.
