Songs currently kicking your ass.

Probably the best song ever about war. The song paints vivid pictures of the preparation for the battle and then the battle itself. So many chills during this song:

The war drums.
The opening vocal line of "Blood red skies, blood red fields, the sun in its last breath providing the shadows of the trees. A moment to dance before death."
That insane scream at 8:22 - 8:37.
The melancholic riff at 11:05 to 11:30. I imagine this is the point where the survivors are surveying the battlefield and seeing the death and destruction, perhaps regretting what they've done, before preparing to finish the battle.

And then the last couple of lines are just epic:

My wary hatred engraves
Fear in their faces as they see their death
I am war, I am death
My hammer crushes skulls and bones
Screams of fear
My sword's thirst drowns in blood
Tears and begging for mercy
I laugh and kill
I am the god of war
I am Ares!

The galloping riff towards the end gets me every time.

Those of you that have heard this before, did you notice the female vocals singing different lyrics at 2:21-2:56? Cool extra layer I'm just now hearing.

The bright procession flashes past - Bad little insects find it tricky to survive
In 2 dimensions under glass
The smile that lies between the lines
Luminous the union beams - As they infest the sickest segments of the hive
Between the gods and their machines
The numb seduction of the blind
Sacrosanct the rank and file - Though we might whisper pretty words from time to time
Of perfect angels passes by
To modify the mind?s desire
And no 3rd dimension troubles this - They'll get no honey like the ones who stay in line
Procession where there's no abyss
In which there burns a fire
