Yeah, don't expect many people to agree! Consuming Impulse is an album I want to love, but I just don't. It's far too clinical and precise in its approach for my taste in death metal and for that reason it will never be one of my favourites. Obviously I still like it plenty though. Definitely brings the riffs.

This song is Immortal's crowning achievement I've just decided. 1:36 - 2:00 is one of my favourite moments in all of black metal. Also, Abbath's blasting and double bass work on this album is amazing.

A few tracks run it close such as "As the Eternity Opens" and "The Sun No Longer Rises", but nah, can't beat this shit.
