That honour will always go to Sadistik Exekution, as much as I love Deströyer 666 they don't quite capture the true Aussie spirit for me, but I get why foreigners love them and consider them the best Aussie metal band.

Rok was a lyrical genius.

Definitely agree with SE over D666. Although given D666 have spent more years overseas than they did here I think the rest of the world can have them anyway.

Overall Mortal Sin are probably mine but it is based on bias because we did quite a few gigs with them before Every Dog Has It's Day and those gigs used to really go off. But bands like Armoured Angel, Allegiance, Hobbs, Mortification, Necrotomy, Acheron, even some of the less heavy bands like Candy Harlots and Taipan are still regular spinners at my house.
