Songs currently kicking your ass.

Wut? There isn't any goddamn Gothenburg riffing in Skeletonwitche's music. Those melodic riffs are just NWOBHM riffs, Maiden-influenced etc. I really can't see any relation to melodic death metal in their music.

The part with Dan Swano is so fucking awesome. "WE WILL RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE..."

Wow, that's a killer song. Can you drop some info about this band? I've never even heard of it, but they sound pretty awesome. Is Dan Swano just a guest singer on this song or is he in the band?

I've been listening to Spite Extreme Wing's "Magnificat" a fair bit the past few days after not paying it much attention in ages.

"Favola d'Ermafrodito (Parte II)" and "Acqua di fonte di Gloria" are two of the most uplifting songs ever, I find.

The band is Hail of Bullets, and they're a Dutch death metal supergroup with the guitarists from Thanatos and Martin van Drunen from Pestilence/Asphyx. They released their debut last year, and it's some kickass old school DM. Dan isn't in the band, but he produced the album and did some guest vocals on that track. Check them out: http://www.myspace.com/hailoffuckenbullets.

Pretty much. Ceremony of Opposites is their best album and lightyears ahead of Solar Soul.
