"Magnisphyricon" is a surprise top 10 disc contendor for me. It is a true prog/power hybrid: Heavy, symphonic, aggressive, melodic, and plenty of curve balls.

I was thinking the same thing... it did sound very Kamelot-like.

At first, I thought perhaps Oliver has a much stronger influence on the Kamelot writing than most realize. However, I then woke up and remembered that Roy wrote all the music, wrote all the lyrics, wrote all the melodies, produced the disc, mixed the disc, mastered the disc, cleaned the studio, did all the press, booked shows & tours, and all legal crap for Kamelot.

Agreed that Oliver is a very significant part of Kamelot's sound.

by the way does anyone n
know what MAGNISPHYRICON means.

Oliver: “Magnus“ is Latin and means “big“, in this case it means more something like “all-embracing“. Then there is the word “sphere“ and the postsuffix “con“, to combine both words. Meant is the world of an artist and the threat to it through the world outside and it's mundane needs. The word also reflects the completion of the band with our second guitar player Pepe Pierez. The title suddenly popped up in my mind. If I'm not mistaken I woke up one day and there it was.

Oliver's credited with writing the last part of Poetry for the Poisoned's title track, "Dissection," in the booklet, which is very Sons of Seasons-esque.

Thanks Glenn for the definition of the word!

Was doing some shopping at Metal Season and picked up their Gods Or Vermin disc for 9.99...sweet!
