Althought, I have a lot of problems with the fact that these supposed al-Q cells are operating, bombing and everything and very little is done in terms of actual recognition of their work. They don't take any credit for anything, not really but often, and keep quiet, which is very un-q-like.

but they did claim responsibility, just not immediately. and it is VERY al-qaedalike. remember how long it took for them to claim responsibility for 9-11?

anyway, al-qaeda has also metastasized into a much less top-down organization--it's more an ideology now, so it's not like there's a unifying plotting force behind it anymore.
