Sorrowseed is an extreme melodic death metal band formed in 2009, drawing inspiration from such bands as Opeth, Cradle of Filth, Amorphis, Dimmu Borgir, and Rotting Christ. Their first release, a double-disc album entitled "The Extinction Prophecies" sold over a thousand copies and was positively reviewed by many local publications, including Boston's "The Weekly Dig", "The Noise", and others.
The band has completeled 2 tours of the Northeast region of the United States and has just released their second full-length album, "Nemesis Engine".
