I know a lot of people didn't like Chinese Democracy.

Aside from that fact, on the song Sorry (at like 0:07 in) there's this cd type fastfowarding effect. Does anyone know how this can be achieved? I'm sure this is pretty basic, but anyone?

I believe the effect is called a "tape in" but other than that dont know much about it or how to achieve it

Play a CD, mic a monitor, fforward, record, automate the pan for the ping-pong effect.

That's how I'd do it.

Some delay or reverb fx have that sound when you change effect time.
