Napster doesn't have Sound of White Noise. Can't understand why Napster would neglect Anthrax's best album, but anyway. Does anybody know where I can buy some Sound of White Noise tracks on the internet?

Use windows media player. Go to Rip music and rip all the files you want, then place them in a folder then move each track into your MP3 player when it's plugged into a USB. MP3 recognises Windows media files.

Unfortunately, I've seen Sound Of White Noise in every used cd store I've ever been to. I say unfortunately, because it's the greatest album of all time, and why anyone would want to rid their life of that cd is beyond me! Anyways, check a used record store, you're bound to find it there.
i used to be like that
2,000 odd cd's later i just cant be fucked to store them anymore, got jewel cases coming out of my ass...they are all ripped onto my pc now, so its just a bunch of plastic sitting around doing nothing, pretty wastefull really......... so i dont see the point of buying cd's just to rip onto my machine and sit on a shelf for the next dot years........
cd's seem so cumbersome now, and fragile, the cases break if you fart near them, at the end of the day its just a waste of resources when there are alternatives that dont need to waste anything.
and i defo dont miss lugging those cases of cd's arund fer sure........

I am in the middle, I don't think the audio on an mp3 is anywhere near the quality of the actual disc but, I also have a whole book case full of CDs I rarely listen to. Most of the songs I like are on my hard drive and compilation discs I've burned for my car. I could easily get rid of my CD collection and not even know it is gone. I buy the CD read the liner notes and look at the pictures then I never look at the album jacket again.

MP3 quality is pants, because it takes the bare minimum of info from tracks, Ie if a drum sound is constantly in the backround it takes a small sample of that sound and just loops it, instead of have a constant stream of info.
But in terms of a portable player MP3 every time as it is tiny, and can fit loads of songs on.
Sound of white noise RULES! There are a few on ebay if you want one, I got it for £2.50 as I only had tape version. Bargin.
