I have 3 dat machines ( 2 tascam plus one sony ) and 1 tascam cd player @ the studio. I would like to keep them permanently connected using digital. The problem is the m-audio 1814 having 1 coaxial spdif input.
So is it possible to chain the machines or is it a no no because of clocking issues ?
A friend of mine told me to get a digital connections splitter ( tiny box with coaxial + optical spdif plus aes-ebu )
