Hey all, does more speaker movement always equal better sound when recording guitars? I had always assumed so but I got a better tone yesterday with less movement than normal. Any opinions on this?

If if sounds good then it is good....
I find that getting a little more air moving can be a good thing, but too much and you can loose some tightness. I guess it all depends on your amp and cab.
