so speakerphone seems to be a good plugin for effects and cabinet simulation. But is it completely insane to use it as a mic modeler? Meaning, turn everything off but the microphone in the plugin and use it for the characteristics of, say, an old vintage mic.
I know nothing can beat the real thing, but im going to be recording vocals for this stuff which im trying to make sound like it was recorded in the 60s/70s. And i know this wont give me the sound right out of the box, will it help?? i dont have this plugin but would like to hear the opinions of those that do.
