I was surprised after hearing this that there I had not seen any discussion on here about this band, I tried to search for any threads on this band/album and I could not find any. I got a hold of this album late in the year and it still managed to make it into almost make it into my top 20 of the year. If I had more time with it, who knows?
The music does have a bit of a Dream Theater vibe to it, but there is enough original going on throughout for that not to be a big detractor. Plus the album features Mark Zonder on drums, so how can that be a bad thing, The album is thematic and features 5 songs (the shortest of which being 9+ minutes). I will post a song below as well as a link to their page at Lion music that has clips from all the songs. Check it out, you might enjoy it.
