I've got my friends 6505 with an engl cab in my rehearsal room.
I reamped some tracks this morning and I really dig that tone. Sounds crisp and "open". Perfect for "non-sturgis" Metalcore alá Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, August burns Red .....
It was mic'd with a single 57. Here's a short example without drums and bass:
