I have been looking at a lot of stuff about X Men 2 recently and it looks really cool, but they are still kind of pussyfooting around putting in the REALLY cool villians.

I do understand that in the case of X Men you need to start off with the basics and get to the cosmic shit later.

I think the Venom plot, to be really great, requires the Secret Wars setup, which they could never do. I guess it could be neat even without the full effect, though.
