There is absolutely no instance I like spoken word passages in metal or folk songs, "folk music is just as bad with this if not worse", and it absolutely kills most songs. Actually, I hate it in every genre of music.

Except electro/trance/techno shit.

Exactly my thoughts. I like some Rhapsody here and there but not too often. Once in a while, I'll pop on something like Power of the Dragonflame but as soon as I hear that homo talk, I have to turn that shit off. Goddamn, Power Metal sure is gay.
