I'm playing the "Safe Home" single for all my students this week in lab and telling them to go out and buy the album on May 6th. Hopefully, at least one will get inspired and become another maniac Anthrax fan. Or at least tell their friends or something.

I had a biology teacher in high school whose first date with his wife was a Judas Priest/Megadeth concert.

He told me this last year when we were both drunk and ran into each other (not literally) by coincidence.

He never played them in class though.

I think he was told to leave my school because of sexual harrassment issues.

My General Business teach my sophmore year said Alice Cooper was in her General Business class when he went to Cortez High School back in his day.

When I was in high school, we had a history teacher who banged a couple of his tennis players. He was also the tennis coach. He got booted after that. But I guess it was worth it because these tennis players were hot. Oh and when I was a sophomore, we had a substitue teacher that was there for 2 weeks because our english teacher was recovering from cancer surgery. Well anyway, this sub was being a real asshole to everyone. Said alot of racist shit, about spics, jews, guinea's, and chincs. He was black too just like my history teacher. Well anyway, to make a long story short, he was arrested in the middle of class. It turned out the he was a fugitive that broke out of prison.

And BTW- I teach at U of I (the good one...Illinois, not Iowa) so that's why I get a little more freedom. If I was a high school teacher, I'd probably get chastised by the administration.
