so i bought the slate drums and i love'em

this is my first attempt and i know it depends on the mix but it would be great to have some feedback/suggestions from you guys or ssd'ers...

i think the toms sound a bit loose, i used the new maple ones...

i like the snare, but the toms sound quite unspectacular...

the cymbals sound very "in the center" to me, but it might just be these >$20 dell desktop speakers on my office desk. heh.

that toms/snare need reverb!!

The cymbals are too centered for my taste,but they sound fucking real!

try to throw some guitar in there.
The samples are KILLER on their own, that's why you buy 'em! Let's hear how you fit em in a MIX. That's where they really start to show character.

Did you manually put this together or did you use the Kontakt VI?

guitars are quadtracked (2 gearbox + 2 nickcrow) with catharsis impulses and slate drums are snare11+pantysnare, kick10+blackkick, qik toms...
