SSL Alpha Link outputs?

This could be a bit of a dumb question, but how do outputs work on the SSL Alpha Link? I know you need DB25-to-XLR(or TRS) breakout cables, but how do you go from the Alpha Link to a reamp box?

For example, my 003 has 1/4" output 1-8, so i just go from output 1 to a reamp box.

DB25 to XLR has male ends so you'd need an XLR female to 1/4" TRS adapter to plug into your reamp box

So there is no way to get uniform outputs like on the back of the 003? I'd just have a bunch of dangling wires?(those that are not currently being used).
