First round for vocals and EQ only.

Chain: C414 uls - RME babyface pre, the cleanest I own.

All the A's are one and all B's are the other. Different settings pushing the EQs more and more (last has 15 db's at 150 hz so there may be some pops). I matched everything as close as I could. Maybe I fucked up in some setting, I have to make sure later on.

Waves black 4000 vs Real SSL black EQ. Which one is the real deal?

I bet the B is hardware because it simply sounds better. This is just an assumption that hardware will sound better. I feel like the difference was in the transients although this was EQ...
 
I'll choose A, even though I couldn't listen, the reason I choose A is because usually everyone get's it wrong and picks the software as being the hardware.
