St Anger Parody

yeah one of the coolest things about the show in MA was Bruce calling out Metallica...he said if the new Maiden CD sucks, then he "highly encourages everyone to steal it or BUUUUUURN it....we in Iron Maiden feel a little differently about online music than certain bands who start with the letter M!"

It was pretty awesome...also cool when he did the intro to the clansman talking about freedom, and how he didnt exactly consider the us music market as free as it wishes it was, since 900 channels of music and a ton of walmarts constitute where people get their music...none of whom carry or play Maiden.

Pretty badass hearing Maiden take a stance on some pretty important issues...and making fun of metallica is always welcome.

Actually, believe it or not Walmart does carry Iron Maiden. I know because I bought the Piece of Mind ECD there and paid like $8 less than what Tower Records was asking.

I do agree though, many Americans take what they are fed off radio / video stations, rather than seeking out bands. I heard an interesting interview with Michael Weikath where he talks about that.

As for the Parody... I don't get it. Isn't that off of St. Anger?
