I can't seem to find a thread already discussing this set.

I got it last week and I love it!

I haven't watched the whole DVD yet, but the CDs sound great. The only complaint I have is that all three disks come in a package similar to the Simpsons Season 1 DVDs, so I made custom CD and DVD covers so I could separate the disks. They turned out pretty good.
 
I just bought it today, and found out, that I can't watch the DVD, 'cause our tv isn't ntsc compatible :erk:
So, we went to buy a new tv, but I'll still have to wait 'til monday to be able to watch it. But I loved the cds! Can't wait to see the DVD too :hotjump:
 
Yeah, I know the DVD is Region Free, but our old tv doesn't work with ntsc anyways, so even if our DVD player plays it without any prob, the tv can't show it. It's a finnish tv (Nokia) and it doesn't support ntsc in any case, which sucks!
Oh well, at least my mom was happy to hear, that she'll get our "old" tv now :)
 
I bought this dvd yesterday. I was very happy when I got it.
I went home and that evening I wanted to watch the cd with my brother's playstation 2. The dvd started to play, but the screen was grey and I was pissed off. I hoped the playstation couldn't play the dvd that well so that the dvd was okay.
Some hours later I took our dvd player, and the dvd played. I was very happy. I couldn't watch the dvd that evening so next morning (today) I put the dvd into the dvd player again and wanted to watch. Unfortunately the dvd didn't work anymore :erk: . I went back to the shop where I got the dvd from and they gave me a new one.
I went home again and FINALLY the dvd played very well.
I really love the live cd's and the dvd. The sound is great and everyone should get this Star One dvd / live cd's! :loco:

The only Dvd's I have are Rhapsody's video clips, Joe Satriani and G3. But I can't get any of the Dvd's I want because of my Dvd player only plays PAL and regions 0 and 4. WHICH LICKS DICK! (ewww... yukki *spu*
So I'm getting a new region free NTSC dvd player and this is my wish list.
 
it's alright (S&M)... i like some of the older stuff on there, though in my oppinion the black album stuff isn't suited for symphony. Anyway, the live show is pretty cool, but a bit too long for my tastes.
 
I got it last week :-) It´s fantastic. I had tears in my eyes while watching it. It`s like a personal piece of memory for me because I also saw star one live last year :cool:!! Russell kicks ass
