Hi,
Me and my drummer are starting a Prog/Tech Thrash Metal band. We are looking for a bassist, high pitched singer, and second guitarist, Very influenced (or in the vein of, but not copying) bands like Watchtower, Toxik, Cynic, Atheist, Confessor, Death, Nocturnus, Control Denied, Artillery, Coroner, Overkill, Megadeth(Old), Hades (Paramus, NJ) Evil Dead, Annihilator, Exodus, Realm, Vektor, Revocation, At The Drive In, The Mars Volta. Instrumental stuff like Spastic Ink, Blotted Science, Guthrie Govan. Older 70s stuff like Yes(!!), Rush, King Crimson, NightSun, Frank Zappa, The Scorpions, Zeppelin, etc... We even have a bit of funk elements taken from bands like Fishbone, Living Colour, 24-7 Spyz. So yea we're pretty much aiming to confuse people with eclectic music. We try to be as open minded as possible.
We are based out of West Carteret, NJ. Looking for people within the ages of 16 - early twenties.
