I've seen the name a thousands times for Steel Attack but I can't recall ever stopping to listen to be honest. I just got a press release so decided to check out the MySpace page for them (hey anything that mentions "Progressive and Symphonic, I'll check!) - so far so good!

I guess this tune I am listening to (Sanctimonious) is from their new album. It's pretty bad ass. Anyone have this one, or once you listen, how doesit compare to their other stuff?

Dang that's two bands in one week that have surprised me, and yet they aren't all that new (the other was Sabaton)

christian band alert

that said "where mankind fails" was a pretty fun album though it wore thin fairly fast...it had some tunes for shore

Are they Christian? News to me if so, where did you see/read that?

Check out the new tune if you can to see how it compares. It was pretty killer I thought.

its fairly obvious from their lyrics that theyre christian iirc

I see, I'll have to check that, not that it matters of course. I scrolled down a bit and watched the video for the title track from the new one, another badd ass tune. It could almost pass for a King Diamond-ish tune musically.

I'l be grabbing this bad boy me thinks.

IIIIII FEEEEEEL.....SPIRITS OF PROFANITY DESCEND UPON MY SOUL...

A DIABOLIC SYMPHONYYYYYYY....WRITTEN IN BLOOD IS MY DESTINYYYYY!!!!

Doesn't sound too awfully Christian to me, but that's just one song. In any case, not listening to a band because they're Christian is as dumb as not listening to a band because they're not.

christian?
that would be totally new to me

to be honestly, i quite have lost track of'em

i adore their debut "where mankind fails"! i love the guitars, i love the production, the songs...well, quite anything!

unfortunately (for me) - they switched their singer after two records...and IMO turned into 'just another power metal band'
according to reviews, the newest album is an improvement again
but i also have to add, that a lot seemingly welcomed the change to the new singer...
