Come on! You know you like them...admit it!

I was home yesterday and was flipping channels on the TV and watched the TV show Las Vegas. Steel Panther was performing in the background in some club on the show. It got me in the mood to listen to them. I have to break out this album at LEAST once per month. I don't think I can even pick a favorite song. The stuff is funny as hell, and they are damn good musicians. And that guitar tone!

Geezus christ I'd fuck a morbidly obese woman to be able to play like that.
His vibrato is just ridiculously good.
Honestly really don't like the band's music (any glam metal I hate instantly), but this video of him playing is amazing.

Love this band and will be blasting the album all day now.

Big fan of 80's stuff and for these guys to pull the sound off better than some bands from the era and poke fun at the scene at the same time... BRILLIANT. ticks all my boxes.

My girlfriend can't stand them but eh.

But its kind of sad that Michael Starr is the only one with long hair though.. it broke my heart seeing them with shaved heads.

thanks man. yeah the solo ....I mean there are parts in there that I could do, but it would sound ass if I'd just done the easy spots
but that solo is fuckin harder than it sounds!

Everything about this song is perfect. My favorite from them. "Oklahoma girl" comes in at a close 2nd. haha.

I love Steel Panther! I've been a fan for a little over a year... it's great stuff.

I actually have been using this CD as a mix reference when mixing 80's hair-metal style stuff. I absolutely love the production on this, and the songwriting is awesome too!

Oh, and I LOVE their cover of Backstreet Boy's "I want it that way" Starr's vocals are amazing on this song -- the notes he hits from about 2:10 on are just mind-blowing. And the whole rearrangement for a band setting is awesome.

Envious. Sometimes they come through Houston, but I've never had a chance to see them (yet).
