Former MORBID ANGEL bassist Steve Tucker has resurfaced in alternative rock band UNDERCURRENT. Tucker, who sings in the band, has also laid down his bass in exchange for a guitar, had this to say about his new outfit:

"Personally I think some of the best musicians in the world play or have played Death metal. But it is very limited emotionally, and I feel that I have gone beyond that emotional level. By no means is UnderCurrent anything near Death Metal. Now I want to do something that is real to me, something that is far more personal and UnderCurrent is definately that."

I am not too impressed, I didnt think he would be joining a garage band. I do listen to everything, but the tracks presented arent as good as Jack Ownes Adrift record. Brett Hoffmans work is always personal and extreme. I understand this is a personal band for him but to come down from Morbid Angels world touring to this? Well I wish the guy the best. Ran into him alot of times at the shows I attended, and always got a good vibe but worried vibe from him.
