Tried to reseach this but couldnt find the answers. Really thinking about buying the LE version

Whats the main big features between the ? I LE and full versionunderstand there is some more kits on the full version.

Does the LE version come with cymbals?

Does the LE work with BFD? Will bfds features such as room mic and overheads position effect the sound?

Thanks it advanced

Its not really a case of whether it will 'work' with BFD. With samples you will always need to use a sound replacer like Drumagog or APtrigga, give the search button a go, theres been quite a few threads on this already. :)

um

false :erk:

Been searching the forums for quite a bit, and went on to the website but I could not really get the answers that I was looking for.

Just really wanted to know the main differences between the LE version and the Full package

Steven will be here soon im sure...but in the mean time

LE contains volume 1 kits
Full version contains volume 1 and 2 kits

Both include cymbals

You can use these samples with a sampler such as Kontact. You do not have to use a sample replacer (drumagog) but you can if you chose to

(i hope im not wrong about anything here)
The new 2.5 upgrade coming soon(cant wait for it!) will come with the ability to use them with BFD. a Slate standalone player will also be available to use by itself.

False, really? Correct me if I'm wrong but BFD doesn't allow you to import your own samples....

Either that or you'd need a sampler like Battery, either way, the answer is still valid.

EDIT: Beat me to it, but my answer was hardly false.

Not trying to be a dick here...

but what you said was false.

While you could use sound replacer, you certainly don't have to, which is what you said

this is also false, because you can import your own samples in the new BFD. It was a valid question he asked, and he WILL be able to use them with BFD2 soon enough

Haha, ok I stand corrected!

False! Tricksy!

as said earlier, LE contains Volume 1 Drums and cymbal pack1. Platinum contains Volume 1 AND Volume 2 drums and cymbal pack 2.

In a few weeks we will have a new version that will add:

room samples from the famous NRG Recording Studio A
a standalone VSTi player with many new features and options
an expansion pack for BFD2
Vdrums presets for TD3,6,9,20

There are other cool enhancements as well. Its gonna be the shiznit.

here are two deftones kit demos played on VDrums:

Thanks Steven,

I will be purchasing a copy then. I think I will wait until you release your upgrade. With regards to the BFD compatibility will it work with BFD1? If not, I assume that I might aswell get rid of My BFD and just use the stand alone VST player if it is up to the job.
