"Stillborn" & "New World"

When I listening to these songs I can mantion that all dirrection of composer's thought in music line and in lyrics is in the same way with "Catch 22". Don't you think that these two are from 2002 session?

Stillborn maybe, but I'd say "Dead Sky Dawning" is the most Catch22esque from that album.

New World's chorus bears no resemblance to the previous album.

I think a few songs on The Arrival are just Peter getting Catch 22 out of his system. Not terrible but not great.

the verse/intro to new world is a little boring, but the prechorus/chorus owns. Stillborn seems pretty good to me, not my favorite on the album or anything... I kind of see what you're saying but I wouldn't actually guess that they were written WITH the Catch 22 stuff. I don't even dislike Catch 22.

I mean that these songs were written in the same time with all from "Catch 22". I don't know, but the resemblense is evident for me. Besides lyrics in that two is dedicated to social themes as well as all on "Catch 22".

Listening to "Dead Sky dawning" now. I think it's a fine sample of melodic death metal.

I'm digging War Within off of that album. The backing choirs give a majestic touch.
